Social Psychology

In addition to offering clinical hypnotherapy and psychometric testing a range of other services are offered to support long term change.

My background as a social psychologist heavily influences my keen interest in offering clients “field assignments” aimed at supporting subconscious acceptance. Clients become amateur social scientists, actively engaged in the process of creating new mindsets and behaviors that will last a lifetime.

Why do we think, feel, and behave as we do? The science of social psychology is concerned with how social influences (or as I refer to these influence-social programming) impacts our outcomes. Creating long term subconscious shifts requires that we have a clear understanding of how external forces shape us (past situations and current circumstances). We must learn how to circumvent our vulnerability to these forces.

Social psychology gives us an unique and powerful perspective when we are attempting to make long term changes.

Social psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, executive coaching and neuro linguistic programming compliment one another and provide an excellent framework for ideal clients who are ready to become the CEO of their personal and/or personal lives. Becoming the CEO of our lives means that we learn to take charge of our thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Clients become actively engaged in a learning process rather then passive recipients of "hypnotism."

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
