CHOOSING A
ADDICTION RECOVERY & RELAPSE TREATMENT PROGRAM

There is no form of treatment that is 100% successful for 100% of people. The goal is to find a service/program, or a combination of services/programs that will best meet your needs.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services 2) medication 3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers 4) self-help.

Many people also access support at Hypnosis for Life while continuing to attend regular AA meetings and other more traditional services.

It is critical for you to realize that your subconscious mind does not like change. It is designed to ensure that change is experienced as painful and overwhelming. Your subconscious mind is not concerned with whether or not the present circumstances are in your best interest. Its job is to maintain the status quo. It prefers the path of least resistance (aka cow paths).

  • However, if you are not satisfied with your life it is your job to keep pushing yourself forward.

The desire to have a better life must be connected with taking action.

  • You need to find a solution that is right for you.

In order to make your vision of a better life a reality, you must understand how your subconscious operates and respect its learning needs. Creating a healthier identity and forging new beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviors is an incremental process for most people.

  • You need to be honest about the level of time, energy and financial resources you are prepared to commit at this present time.

There are several programs available. Any one of these options will compliment and extend the work you may have already done to address your addiction/problem use concern.

Level 1 Easy quick start-does not require a consultation request.

Level 2 Consultation request required.

Level 3 Consultation request required.
