The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.
These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.

"Don't fear failure. Fear being in the exact same place next year as you are today." Michael Hyatt

Long Term Change

Once you have the knowledge and skills for effecting long term change the world truly becomes your oyster. It doesn’t take years of therapy but it does take:

1)      Gaining clarity about what one wants

2)      Choosing the belief system that backs up the vision

3)   Momentum and action

None of this is rocket science. Human beings bang their heads against the wall over and over again trying to create something new because our social programming tells us:

1)      Change should be a long, arduous and painful process

2)      Someone else is better able to guide our lives

Neither of these assumptions are accurate. When we realize that our lives are a composite of what has been “learned” we see clearly that our thoughts, feelings and behaviors have a habit component. From this assumption we are able to use accelerated principles of learning to create meaningful change through a simple but systematic approach. Change then comes from a hopeful, positive anticipatory and open state of being versus a painful drudgery.

This frame of reference does indeed make the world our oyster. Long term change can be create and maintained with grace and ease. In order to do that we must recruit the subconscious mind, we want its willing participation. Again,  long term change begins with:

1)      Gaining clarity about what one wants

2)     Choosing the belief system that backs up the vision

3)   Momentum and action
