“I know that building my confidence would improve my self-esteem.” This item is not regularly checked off by individuals seeking support for confidence. The reasoning is…”if I had more self-esteem I would have more confidence.” However, the reality is that self-esteem is built by taking deliberate active measures to improve confidence levels.

We are held by back the perception we have of ourselves. The subconscious mind has accepted a persona of one who suffers from low self-esteem and will continue to hold fast to this self-evaluation until new ways of being are accepted and absorbed by the subconscious mind. Self-esteem can only improve when we decide to build a more confident persona. As we begin to take small, incremental, measurable steps to become more confident and competent we naturally begin to create positive shifts in our self-esteem.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
