“I lack energy and clarity for needed decisions.”
Most clients who experience anxiety have difficulty with the process of decision making. Good decisions can serve current goals but should also support the emergence of a satisfying future.
A state of anxiety depletes mental energy and decreases creative problem solving. The result is a lack of clarity and an inability to view problems from a fresh perspectives.
The subconscious mind seeks to preserve energy and will naturally move us in the direction of decisions that are familiar, but not in our best interest.
Good decision making requires that we are clear on desired outcomes, are and able to exercise flexibility in our thinking.
Making new decisions, and following them up with action often requires more clarity then the anxious person may possess. Lack of energy and clarity fuel the vicious cycle of anxiety until the subconscious mind accepts and absorbs new ways of being.
