The majority of people turn to traditional addiction resources before considering hypnotherapy and executive coaching. For example:
Support groups AA, NA,
In/out patient treatment
Medical interventions (detox, pharmaceuticals)
Since the struggle still continues for most people, it should go without saying that an important piece of the puzzle is not being addressed. There is no “one” method of treatment that works 100% of the time for 100% of people.
Other then those unfortunate incidences of alcohol/drug withdrawal in newborns, it is important to remember that no one is born an addict.
We are born with original potential. This potential is numbed overtime by our decisions and social programming. For most people, addictions are learned and become subconsciously hard-wired.
The subconscious mind learns to accept an identity and seeks to maintain the status quo until it is re-educated. The goal is to relapse to original potential.
