This item is often checked off for individuals who are seeking treatment for social anxiety issues. Often individuals have been diagnosed with social anxiety by a therapist in the past, or they have self diagnosed. Many underlying factors may be at play for the experience of becoming mentally fatigued by social interactions, yet social anxiety is often not a valid or helpful label.

An ongoing sense of being mentally drained becomes a vicious cycle which often results in people avoiding social interactions or replaying old conditioned ways of being that feed into the self-image of social anxiety.

It is important to understand that self- confidence, self-efficacy and improved self esteem can only be positively impacted by addressing the learning needs of the subconscious mind.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.
