CONFIDENCE CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOPS-PRESENTING AS ARROGANT, ALOOF OR UNFRIENDLY

“I believe that my lack of confidence presents as arrogance, aloofness or unfriendliness.”

This item is often chosen on the self-assessment form by individuals who lack confidence, have some measure of social anxiety or are simply pre-occupied with personal challenges.

In an attempt to protect the self, and conserve energy, many people turn inward, are unaware of social cues, and fail to recognize the real power they have in influencing their environment.

Having others view us as arrogant, aloof or unfriendly can have devastating results on our personal and professional lives. In order to build relationships and be offered opportunities we need to approachable.

It is important to realize that our ways of being have become programmed overtime. The subconscious mind does not have the ability to determine whether or not those ways of being are in our best interest. Presenting a persona that is not in alignment with our goals simply means that the mind must be re-educated.

Confidence Building for the Introvert

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
