1) You are interested in your personal development
People who benefit most from this process recognize that hypnosis and hypnotherapy are not magic wands. Yes, we would all love to have a perfect stranger wave a magic wand and make it all better for us. We have all had times when we just felt so fed up with our lack of progress that we really do want someone else to fix it for us…and quickly damn it!
However, having an interest in your personal development is the key to maintaining the benefits of hypnosis. You have amazing strengths and potential that, over time have been put on the back burner. A genuine interest in your personal development includes an interest in self discovery and gathering practical new tools. This can be an exciting process with a realistic step by step framework.
2) You view new ideas, tools & strategies as an investment in your future
Almost anything of value in your life has required your time and energy. Fortunately when we compliment hypnosis and hypnotherapy with neuro linguistic acceleration strategies we are able to support the subconscious mind to learn deeply and absorb new information more readily.
One of the guiding principles at Hypnosis for Life is that thoughts feeling and behaviors are patterned habituated responses. This means that regardless of the challenges you face, or how you feel about yourself here and now, that at your core you are still perfect. Yes, you picked up some “gunk” along the road of life, but at your core you are still a little miracle. This premise supports a meaningful future and a better life generated by both passive hypnosis and active involvement with new tools and strategies.
3) You are curious about the working of your subconscious mind
While understanding all of the details of hypnosis, hypnotherapy and subconscious functioning and subconscious restructuring are not necessary, there are some practical considerations to be aware of when working with the mind. If we hope to program new thoughts, feelings and behaviors for a better life it makes sense to, at minimum, understand a few programming principles and techniques.
This work does not need to be mystical. The intent is to bring practicality to the models so that clients can comfortably replicate learning. This is when true transformation occurs and when true transformation “sticks.”
4) Self-governance is important to you
There are some individuals who do not want to be in the driver’s seat of their lives. Some people will go to their graves still blaming parents, employers, spouses or the world. I won’t dance around the fact that ultimately this is a safe place to be for anyone who has absorbed a victim mentality.
It is true that life can deal some devastating blows. It is also true that our responses to past challenges become habits that we continue to play out. I believe that in order to create a better experience we need a way to move into self-governance. This is a place of deliberate response not automatic reaction.
Often this requires a framework. We build the self-governance muscle and we do it deliberately. Sometimes we need initial support to do that. The ultimate goal of the work at Hypnosis for Life Inc. is always to support clients to move into a place of being able to say…”thanks, I will take it from here.”
Do these 4 points makes sense to you?
If so, then yes, this work will likely be a fit for you. It
You can ask questions about hypnosis, hypnotherapy and neuro linguistic programming for hours on end. But at some point, people who are successful simply jump in. Truly it needs to be experienced to be fully understood.
The 4 points outline what is considered to be an ideal client who will ultimately be successful. These 4 points do not come out of thin air, they come from 20 plus years of supporting people to create better lives.
