“I have made use of traditional therapy in the past.”

The majority of clients who seek support for anxiety issues have made use of traditional therapy (and medication/s) in the past. Many come with a range of knowledge and tools for managing anxiety but believe that there is more that needs to be accomplished/addressed.

In spite having a conscious level understanding of anxiety, and having a range of tools available, many people still fall off the wagon (revert to old ways of being when triggered) because the subconscious mind has not yet fully accepted and absorbed a new identity and new ways of being.

This is the case regardless of presenting concerns. Traditional therapy can be extremely valuable during periods of crisis and can provide important insights. However, without meeting the learning needs of the subconscious mind, most people often find themselves travelling back down an old path of least resistance during periods of high stress.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
