“I find that anxiety exhausts my body.”

Clients who have been experiencing bouts of prolonged anxiety often find that in addition to mental fatigue, physical exhaustion occurs. Many feel drained, heavy, and exhausted by daily demands. It is not unusual for these individuals to have decreased immunity and be susceptible to colds, the flu, headaches and other maladies.

Anxiety creates an arousal state. Although the relationship between adrenal fatigue and anxiety is unclear there is little doubt that there is a dynamic interplay. We are a walking pharmacy and there is now plenty of evidence to suggest that our states impact our physiology.

The subconscious mind does not differentiate between how programs are developed. Once a way of being has been accepted and absorbed, its job is to maintain the status quo, and it will do so with stubborn tenacity until it is re-educated.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
