"I got my job back, thank you Terri. The program has been the best thing I have ever done. Helps my marriage too!"
Peter. J. Edmonton

Peter is a 30 year old, professional, married man with one child. Peter describes himself as a party animal who never intended to settle down. Peter did not feel that he had an addiction per se but simply needed to develop parameters for consumption.

In fact, if he had not received an ultimatum from his wife and boss he most likely would not have sought support. He refused more traditional treatment and requested lifestyle coaching along with hypnosis for habit formation.

Peter developed a new understanding and respect for his subconscious mind. With new tools he has been able to very deliberately program the thoughts, feelings and behaviours of a social user with controlled use.

This course of support has allowed Peter the opportunity to become a social scientist in his own life, at a level that is a personal fit for him. Peter feels in control of the outcomes and is clear on the indicators that would suggest to him that social use is not an option.

Peter returned to work and is functioning well. Both he and his wife attended one couples communication strategy session and the trust in the relationship has begun to grow. Outside accountability of occasional follow up has been an important part of the structuring process.

The majority of individuals who access services at Hypnosis for Life have, at one time or another made good use of: 1) traditional clinical psychology services  2) medication  3) community counselling, 12 step programs and/or treatment centers.

These options provide initial needed relief, however, relapse is common. Challenges tend to re-occur until the subconscious mind has fully accepted and absorbed new paths of least resistance.
