Supporting the Subconscious Mind to Accept a New Self-Image

UNDERSTANDING THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THIS WORK

IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH SOBRIETY BUT ARE STILL WORKING TOWARDS PROTECTING AND CARING FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF...YOU ARE BECOMING THE CEO YOUR LIFE.

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO CONSIDER THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THIS WORK:

a.    We are each born with unique, innate tendencies, preferences, talents and capacities (original potential).

b.    Throughout life we are exposed to negative external environments or circumstances (social programming).

c.    There is a dynamic interplay between these two forces which impacts the self-image, and we are especially vulnerable to suggestion during specific developmental stages and periods of extreme stress.

d.    During these periods of vulnerability, the subconscious mind accepts “realities” that are not congruent with our capacity to create a satisfying life, one which is aligned with original potential.

e.    Beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviors (ways of being aka cow paths) develop a neurological reality over time.

f.     These ways of being become hard-wired, are easily triggered, and have a multitude of strong associations and anchors that are subconsciously rooted.

g.    When we begin to understand how the subconscious mind operates, and make the decision to become the CEO of our lives, we can incrementally cease being at the mercy of past events or current circumstances. This allows us to close the GAP between where we are and where we would prefer to be in our lives.

h.    Becoming the CEO of our lives means that we consciously, deliberately choose to develop new subconscious programs.

To do-choose a minimum of 2 of the statements above, the ones that most resonate with you, and write them in your journal. Explain why  these two statements resonate with you.
