Self deception is human nature. It is easy to put our heads in the sand and pretend. However the weight of the little untruths add up. Self deception becomes a heavy burden to carry. This is especially the case when it comes to our health.

What little lies you have been telling yourself about your weight loss efforts? In what ways have you been deceiving yourself? You may not know on a conscious level, but it is a likely bet that you have been fooling yourself. True transformation requires personal honesty. Personal honesty is hard, it requires guts and it can be scary. However, the result of self deception can be even scarier. Heart disease and diabetes are often the awful result of long term denial.

Personal honesty brings lightness to mind and spirit and eventually, to body. We can begin to shift into a healthier level of internal honesty in a manner that is safe, nurturing and keeps the end goal in mind.
