Edmonton Hypnotherapy Cow Path Model of Change™ Subconscious Mind and Social Programming

* "The voice of the intelligence is drowned out by the roar of fear. It is ignored by the voice of desire. It is contradicted by the voice of shame. It is biased by hate and extinguished by anger. Most of all it is silenced by ignorance."  Karl A. Menninger

The Cow Path Model of Change™ offers a structured and systematic path for creating new, strong, freely chosen, subconscious cow paths that are in alignment with your current goals and potential. A keen desire to be the CEO of one’s life is a prerequisite of contracting for services.

Creating new ways of being requires:

  • an intelligent  understanding of the subconscious mind
  • awareness of the impact of social programming
  • the skillful will to manipulate our subconscious mind and our circumstances (discovery, tools and strategies)

What does a cow path represent?

The cow path represents a habitual path of least resistance that has been learned and accepted by the subconscious mindThere is a neurological reality to any way of being that has become automated.

Automated, conditioned ways of being include thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We refer to these ways of being as cow paths.

Social programming often creates a victim mindset. See  victim mindset vs a ceo mindset.

Creating new cow paths

  •  Attempting to change deeply rutted cow paths without the meeting the learning needs of the subconscious mind is futile. This is precisely why we see positive gains fall to the wayside over and over again. Relapse in any area is simply an indication that the subconscious mind has not fully absorbed or accepted a new identity.
  • Attempting to change deeply rutted cow paths without understanding the incredible impact of social programming ensures that one will remain at the mercy of the outside influences that shape self-image. Maintaining positive change requires a keen understanding of how to maintain and cement new cow paths.

Self-image & cow paths

  • Your entire life and any current challenges are a reflection of the self-image you have allowed yourself to absorb.
  • Your self-image may not be congruent with the potential you began this life with.
  • Social programming and our lack of respect for the subconscious mind is at the heart of our difficulties.
  • Creating new thoughts, feelings, and behaviors congruent with the self-image of being the CEO of one’s life vs. a victim of circumstances requires work and commitment to a process.
