In the last email, I asked for your active involvement.
I suggested that that you review past emails and respond with two
questions regarding the material you have read. A willingness to do this
demonstrates a desire to actively engage in an important process.
Becoming the CEO of our lives means that we are willing to review
information, question it and engage with it, rather then simply accept
it. I sincerely hope that you took the time to reply to the last email.
Now, I’d like to ask you two questions:
- Thinking back, how has your passive acceptance of external
messaging allowed you to take a backseat and remain a passenger in your

allowed you to take more empowered position as the driver in your life?
There is no need to forward your responses to the questions above.
encourage you to set aside some time to answer them on paper. By
engaging in a process of self discovery we are reaching for more awareness. As I mentioned early in this series, change must begin at the conscious level.
Closing the GAP requires that we become a little suspicious about our
ways of being, but also of the external messages we receive. The
messages we have passively received has played a powerful role in terms
of how we view ourselves, and how we operate in our lives. Remember,
“what is” is not always congruent with the expression of our potential.
It is healthy to want to be successful, to desire contentment, to feel
fulfilled and to challenge ourselves to take incremental steps toward
reconnecting with our original potential, in spite of the influences
that negative social programming has had.
